  1. Rachel is a single mother with four children. Her home needs some plumbing help, and she has water leaks under house. TAP cannot weatherize until water problem is solved.
    Status: Assigned to Team 1.
  2. Elderly Fairfield couple needs front porch repair per Fire Insurance.
    Status: Assigned to Team 2. Project completed.
    Activity: Steps have been removed and replaced with a new front porch.

  3. Elderly Lexington woman who needs ramp as she is unable to climb the four stairs to get in her home.
    Status: Assigned to Team 2. On inspection the ramp repair was not needed and a local church is involved.
    Project cancelled.
  4. Elderly Buena Vista woman needs roof repair and plumbing problem under bathroom before TAP can weatherize her home.
    Status: Assigned to Team 1.
  5. Goshen man is on disability and needs roof repair before home can be weatherized.
    Status: Assigned to Team 5.
  6. Disabled lady on Brownsburg Turnpike needs heat pump repair, plumbing repair and some interior painting needs.
    Status: Assigned to Team 3. Project completed.
    Activity : She has been referred to and gotten some temporary repair of her cooling system by TAP as of 6/20/08. Her bathroom sink has been refitted with new faucets and her toilet repaired with a new flushing system. We will maintain support of this NP member.

  7. Lady in Glasgow is 68 and her home is in very bad condition. She has electrical problems and mold problems. Her basement was so congested TAP could not access.
    Status: Assigned to Team 1.
    Activity: The nearby Glasgow Presbyterian Church has been contacted to take on this “next door” activity. Project Reassigned
  8. Natural Bridge man has problems with his windows and floors.
    Status: Assigned to Team 4. Project underway . Floors have been jacked up and windows have been ordered from Spencers.
    50% completion estimate.
  9. Glasgow man has several medical conditions and needs gutters repaired and access ramp repaired.
    Status: Assigned to Team 2. Project planning underway.
  10. Glasgow woman is 80 yrs old and has roof trouble, ceiling in living room falling in, kitchen floor has hole in it and holes in some of her walls inside the home.
    Status: Assigned to Team 4. Project initiated . Roof has been found to be OK, but there are painting and sheetrock needs.
  11. Glasgow man is 75 and needs underpinning for his trailer in addition to hand rails for entrance.
    Status: Assigned to Team 4.
    Project Canceled. Man has moved to a nursing home
  12. Single father from Kygers Hill is trying to rehab a mobile home given to him by his grandmother. TAP can weatherize once he has the inside completed.
    Status: Not currently assigned.
  13. Elderly Goshen lady had tin roof buckle during last wind storm.
    Status: Assigned to Team 5.
  14. Raphine Lady needs heat pump repair before TAP can weatherize her home.
    Status: Assigned to Team 3.
    Activity: We have been unable to contact this lady to date after several attempts and will visit her address on 10/1.
    Project status: Occupant has moved and project has been cancelled.
  15. Buena Vista woman needs plumbing work in bathroom and some electrical work before we can weatherize.
    Status: Assigned to Team 3. Project Completed
    Activity: We have paid to have the septic system pumped, and we have replaced the toilet with a refitted used model, repaired interior plumbing and structural weakness under the bathroom, repaired electrical outlets in the bathroom, installed a new shower surround, replaced bathroom paneling, and resleeved the bathroom vent pipe.

  16. Natural Bridge Lady needs bathroom floor repaired.
    Status: Assigned to Team 3. Project Completed,
    Activity: The floor has been shored up from below with pressure treated lumber and the floor of a rotting and dangerous front porch has been replaced. This trailer needs a new toilet to prevent further leaking through the floor and insulation should be replaced by TAP. TAP has been contacted and we can help if necessary.

  17. Lady from Natural Bridge Station needs roof repair over kitchen and bathroom before TAP can weatherize.
    Status: Not currently assigned.
  18. Brownsburg lady has a variety of needs including leaking plumbing, loose and clogged guttering, and needs an electrical inspection to see if she can have a 220 upgrade to allow her to have a stove. Her house is also in need of painting.
    Status: Assigned to Team 3. Project near completion.
    Activity: Kitchen plumbing had been repaired and her TV antenna has be rewired and relocated to improve her very poor TV reception. This house was painted and electrical inspection was completed during the week of 9/29-10/6.
    Total Cost: $347
    Time Spent: 67h to date. 75 (est) at completion.
  19. House in Rockbridge Baths has many needs including roofing , plumbing, guttering , paint, wiring checked, and possibly some new windows. Ken Mohler has begun getting estimates. Total cost may be around $3000. We will do this soon with Bethesda leading.
    Status: Assigned to Team 5.
    Project status: Materials cost has been estimated.
